Working in in heat can be severe at times. So severe that you would prefer to take a day off. But sometimes it is necessary. For instance, required maintenance at hot summer days or working in hot production environments.Â
Heat causes risks for the entire body. High ambient temperatures and strenuous efforts may cause your body to become overheated. This is known as heat stress. Normally, you would cool down by sweating, but protective clothing and PPE cause additional heating up.
